Entrepreneurial Mindset

Background

‘Entrepreneurial Mindset’ is an advanced course designed to enable students from any discipline to transform uncertainty into opportunity. By viewing complex problems through an entrepreneurial lens—an adaptable and effective framework originally developed for startups—the course provides participants with a structured approach to value creation. Recognizing that anyone can adopt an entrepreneurial mindset and that entrepreneurship transcends professions—whether you’re a medical doctor, engineer, designer, artist, researcher or startup founder—this course is built around three core elements of the entrepreneurial method:

  • Self-leadership: Develop skills to guide yourself and others through changing environments.
  • Attracting Resources: Learn how to find, gather, and make use of available resources to support your goals and initiatives.
  • Co-creation and Collaboration: Work together with others to create new ideas and address complex challenges in a variety of professional settings.

Through interactive workshops, practical exercises, and reflective activities, participants will delve into these principles to understand how they can drive change and innovation, regardless of their professional background or area of study.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This course is open to everyone interested in exploring how entrepreneurial methods can be applied to their professional futures, regardless of their field, while expanding their network with like-minded individuals.

what makes the course unique?

Unlike traditional entrepreneurship courses that focus on step-by-step guides to launching a company or provide personalized advice like those offered by incubators and accelerators, this course takes a broader approach. It leverages the entrepreneurial mindset to create value across all disciplines and professions, making it relevant far beyond the startup.

INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMEs

  2. Apply frameworks of entrepreneurship to analyze real-world change processes, identifying factors that drive value creation or maintain the status quo within various professional contexts.
  3. Evaluate strategies and practices used by professionals to foster innovation and manage uncertainty, demonstrating an understanding of how entrepreneurial principles can be adapted beyond traditional startup environments.
