What do you study, and at which university?
I study Linguistics at SU.

What made you want to become an SSES Course Assistant?
I wanted to become a course assistant because I enjoy working in a dynamic and stimulating environment and I like planning and organising.

What do you think makes an SSES course different from other courses you’ve taken?
I think an SSES course is different because it deals with practical issues and addresses ways of doing things rather than just explaining the theory!

What’s something you could talk about for far too long?
Something I could talk about for hours is how language shapes society and the way we think of the world and how it has an impact on how we perceive time and space 🙂
