Dr. Eugen Steiner M.D., Ph.D., has over 30 years’ experience of leading life science companies. Prior to that he was active as a physician at Karolinska Hospital and a researcher at Karolinska Institute. As a venture partner with HealthCap since 1997, he has been CEO or board member of several companies in which HealthCap has invested. Eugen has extensive experience from executive as well as board positions in Sweden, Norway, the UK and the United States.
Eugen’s other assignments include: Chairman of Empros Pharma AB and Spago Nanomedical AB. Board member of Apotek Produktion & Laboratorier AB, Bioarctic AB, Inbox Capital AB, Karolinska Institutet Holding AB, Karolinska Institutet Innovations AB, and deputy board member of Doctrin AB.
