What do you study, and at which university?
I’m doing my master’s in Journalism Studies at Stockholm University.

What made you want to become an SSES Student Ambassador?
I joined the ambassador program to experience a different side of student life in Stockholm. I tend to freeze up a bit around unfamiliar things, so I wanted a challenge that would force me to make connections and try new activities. Two years later, I’m still an SSES Ambassador and loving it. It has completely pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible.

What’s something you think more students should know about SSES?
Don’t let “entrepreneurship” scare you off. It is about so much more than just starting a business. It includes testing new ideas, personal growth, building skills, or just trying something different. SSES gives you the space to dive into topics you know nothing about yet. That is the real beauty of education.

If you could instantly become really good at one thing, what would it be?
Swimming. I hope to get past that fear one day, but for now, I only enjoy water where my feet touch the ground.
