THE FUTURE OF FINANCE
Join this SSES International Bootcamp to investigate how finance will influence how we live, love and work in the 21st century. In this intense one-week International Bootcamp, you will collaborate with students from a multitude of disciplines and cultures to prototype solutions with a fintech and design thinking focus.
Through a variety of field-trips, excursions and immersions, you will meet entrepreneurs and other experts in fintech and design thinking while working closely with students from NUS. You will also be invited to explore the Singapore Fintech Festival, part of SWITCH.
All students enrolled in programs at SSES member universities KTH, SSE, KMH, Konstfack, SU, KI as well as NUS Students are eligible to apply to this collaboration between Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship, National University of Singapore and Nordea.
What is a BootCamp?
SSES Bootcamps are full-time one-week highly interactive deep-dive into an exciting challenge area, where students work alongside each other to learn, solve, bond and grow. This social immersion takes place somewhere around the globe, or in beautiful Stockholm, in collaboration with our world-class academic partners. These Bootcamps are designed and developed for engaged and ambitious students, giving them the tools and opportunity to address wicked problems and complex social challenges through interdisciplinary groups. Through a meticulous selection process, we handpick students from each of our six member universities in order to maximize diversity of disciplines, perspectives, cultures and genders. Bootcamps are completely free and students and alumni of SSES and our six member universities are all welcome to apply.
About the instructor
Hlin Helga is an analytical, creative and critical mind by nature, who in recent years, through her experience as a designer, curator, teacher, consultant, manager and lecturer has gained insights and experiences of various forms of leadership and creative processes in different fields as well as interdisciplinary practices. Hlin is a skilled and experienced manager and project leader in the creative sector and is the founder of Hlin&co, an international transdisciplinary practice which focuses on facilitating, initiating and leading transdisciplinary dialogues and collaborations based on design methodologies and interdisciplinary research methods.
Since 2009 Hlin has been involved in design education around the world, through her position at Konstfack University of Arts, Craft and Design in Stockholm and Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship. She has been designing courses and developing content in various topics including trendspotting and future thinking, experience design, inter- and transdisciplinarity as well as building and leading interdisciplinary teams to deal with complex site-specific problems, in various fields, notably in healthcare.
Hlin has curated exhibitions, events and conferences over the past years for the Icelandic Design Center and the Icelandic Museum of Design, and through her position at the Aurora Design Fund and at Konstfack University, Stockholm, where she has initiated panels on the subject of exhibiting experiences.
