What do you study, and at which university?
I am pursuing my Master’s in Translational Physiology and Pharmacology at Karolinska Institutet.
What made you want to become an SSES Course Assistant?
Being an international student myself, I experienced the challenges of navigating through courses and classwork while settling into a new country. When I got the opportunity to be an SSES course assistant, it was the perfect way for me to help new students feel comfortable in class and be the bridge between the teacher and students. Also, I was super excited to attend an SSES course and expand my knowledge base in the field!
What do you think makes an SSES course different from other courses you’ve taken?
An SSES course is an extremely diverse space, with student and teacher perspectives from different specialisations, which makes it very special. The courses also cover very niche topics, which are essential for development in the current scenario.
What’s your ideal way to spend a completely free day?
I love spending my time on hobbies and struggle to sit idle. So maybe you would find me dancing or painting. And I love going on walks on sunny days!
