From September there are office spaces available in the Entrepreneurship Church – an old Greek church, close to Odenplan – that has been turned into an office. It gathers entrepreneurs in widely different sectors and is a creative place/ meeting point for all kinds of inspired projects and people.

This summer SSES student Claudia Olsson is switching Stockholm for Silicon Valley to attend Singularity University. She will thereby become the first Swede to participate in the prestigious education. In this, Google, along with NASA and LinkedIn is notable amongst the organizers.

SSES' local entry at Karolinska Institutet, the Unit for Bioentrepreneurship, houses three courses including the SSES course From Science to Business organized every spring. Two courses are given this fall – and it is time to register.

Since 2000 a scholarship has been awarded for Female Economist of the Year to “recognize academic excellence and outstanding ambition while promoting future women leaders in Swedish business”. This year’s scholarship holder is SSES alumna Saana Azzam.
