Susanne Helgeson is the Deputy Communications Manager at Konstfack and their new representative on our board. She is also a writer and freelance journalist with design as a major and is often seen in a tiny Italian village, at the tennis court and kayaking around Kungsholmen. Susanne started her career in the advertising business as project manager and copywriter. Between 1999 and 2007 she was editor of Form Design Magazine and her first book, Svenska Former/Swedish Design, was published in 2000.

Together with a colleague, she took the initiative to launch the Swedish Design Research Journal, had a part time employment at KTH at the Swedish Faculty for Design Research and Research Education 2009–2015 and has been a member of the boards of Konsthantverkarna and Blås&Knåda. At Konstfack she got her first freelance assignment in 2005, as opponent, and since 2012 she also curates the Friday Lecture series – open for everyone!
