We’ve reimagined our entire curriculum using cinema, to reflect the drama, chaos, and creativity of real-world entrepreneurship.
In a time of rapid transformation across industries, education must evolve to stay relevant. At the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship, we’ve always challenged traditional approaches to entrepreneurial learning — and today, we’re taking another bold step forward.
Starting this spring, SSES will introduce a new film-based curriculum, replacing all course materials with carefully selected feature films that reflect the core themes, challenges, and dynamics of each subject area.
This shift is designed to better align with the lived experience of entrepreneurship, where intuition, storytelling, unpredictability, and human complexity often outweigh conventional frameworks. Each film will serve as a narrative case study, offering a rich foundation for reflection, discussion, and critical insight.
Course Highlights Include:
Each course will now begin with a screening, followed by guided analysis and application sessions. The aim is to move beyond abstract concepts and engage with entrepreneurship as it is: dynamic, messy, and deeply human.
The new curriculum has already drawn international attention, with one unnamed Ivy League institution reportedly “watching closely, but also deeply confused.”
We look forward to welcoming students into this next chapter of entrepreneurial education.
