Leading and Succeeding in Uncertainty

This workshop is designed to specifically bring out your potential to lead – yourself and your personal projects – through the muddy waters of an uncertain future. Focusing on increasing and accelerating your self-knowledge and self-leadership skillset, you will develop strategies to navigate a context full of change and unpack how you lead yourself in challenging conditions.

Fun, engagement, leveraging diversity, and working together are at the heart of this workshop, combining theoretical insights with practical application. Collaborative scrum sessions, presentations, and constructive opposition will furthermore allow you to lift your gaze and see your vision, increasing your self-knowledge and self-leadership capabilities through diverse perspectives and collective wisdom.

We will be working with VUCA = volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.

First used in the military to describe a suddenly different and radically unfamiliar state of the world, the VUCA acronym now seems more or less accurate all the time. Where there was once stability, there is now volatility. The things that were once familiar are now completely new, and in this ever-changing, unpredictable world, the ability to adapt and thrive despite the VUCA of it all is truly invaluable. We will explore the leadership philosophy and use the framework of VUCA to advance your individual projects together.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

  • Deeper understanding of yourself and others in challenging contexts
  • Training of key self-leadership skills such as courage, passion, flexibility, and collaboration, tailored to your specific ambitions or projects
  • A framework for leading yourself and advancing towards a visionary goal
  • How to learn from failure and be ahead of developments, even surprising ones
