We are excited to announce our upcoming annual Bootcamp entitled 'Medical Industry Leadership', held in Stockholm this June 2017.

This will be our third time hosting the Bootcamp in collaboration with Karolinska Institutet and the Carlson School of Management (University of Minnesota). The Bootcamp is based on an academic course provided by the Carlson School of Management's Medical Industry Leadership Institute.

The Medical Leadership Bootcamp is designed to give students insight into medical device valuation, assessment, and to learn from industry experts about the changing healthcare landscape in Sweden.

Students from all five of SSES’ member universities will be offered the opportunity to work hands-on in interdisciplinary teams on a medical device valuation project together with MBA students from the Carlson School of Management (CSOM).

The Bootcamp takes place in early June 2017, with two introductory meetings during Spring 2017. This Bootcamp will give its participants the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary team and deliver a MBA-style valuation report to actual medical device companies, while visiting relevant life science and healthcare companies in the Stockholm area. Last years’ visits included companies such as Pfizer, Elekta, 3M, Biolamina and more.
