Entrepreneurial Networking
Networking: love it or hate it, when done well it can be the fastest way to get you what you want. But few people love it, and yet most would describe themselves as sociable. For you, however, that may be about to change.
Making business contacts is critical at all stages of your career, but never more so than in the beginning. Networking, however, often seems contrived, slightly awkward and even a somewhat scary, which is why so many people only chat to people they already know at networking events. Hardly the point of networking!
This Toolbox Friday is packed with concrete tips on how to make business contacts as a key step towards reaching your goals. Using a lively blend of interactive theory and practice, this session teaches you the essentials of how to work your way through a room, and how to enter and exit conversations smoothly. You will take away strategies that you can implement right away.
