Financing your venture in the beginning is difficult, but crucial for the success of your business. This workshop will present different alternatives for having the resources needed for the economical survival of the first year.
Venture capital is often considered as the obvious way of financing, but that is far from always the most appropriate strategy. This workshop will focus on alternative ways of entrepreneurial finance such as public financing, banks, customers/suppliers and business angels. Special attention will be given to the tool ”boot-strapping”. Venture capital will also be considered - in its place in the value chain of financing and with its pros and cons.
Questions that will be covered include:
• What types of financing are available?
• How much money do I really need?
• Which financing solution is best for me?
• How do I minimize dependence on others?
As always, we love working with you on your own business or business idea, but if you do not have one yet you are still more than welcome to participate.
