The Idea to Product® Global competition is an early-stage technology commercialisation plan competition for unique product ideas with clear market demand that use innovative technologies. The goal of the competition is to educate and develop the next generation of technology entrepreneurs.

This year, I2P® Global will be hosted by, and taking place at, the Royal Institute of Technology. Invited universities from Asia, Europe, North and Latin America compete for cash prizes and a chance to enter the prestigious Texas Venture Labs Investment Competition. Participants benefit from valuable feedback from the entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, engineers, and intellectual property attorneys on the judging panels. Competition entries should be unique and innovative, be feasible to implement, address an identified market need, and they must have an underlying technology component.

The teams will be competing in one of the three themed tracks: ICT, Energy or Life Science. The teams will be made up of students ranging from Bachelor to Ph.D. level and they will have created new value based on emerging technology.

See competition guidelines & more information here.
