The Idea To Product (I2P) international competition is an early-stage technology commercialisation plan competition for unique product ideas with clear market demand that use innovative technologies. The goal of the competition is to educate and develop the next generation of technology entrepreneurs.
The competition is hosted by the Murchison Chair of Free Enterprise at The University of Texas at Austin. Invited universities from Asia, Europe, North and Latin America compete for $25,000 in prizes and a chance to enter the Global Moot Corp competition. Participants benefit from valuable feedback from the entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, engineers, and intellectual property attorneys on the judging panels. Competition entries should be unique and innovative, be feasible to implement, and address an identified market need, and they must have an underlying technology component.
