Innovation in the food sector

The food industry in general is low tech, with a modest rate of innovation. Everyone agrees that a more innovative climate is desirable, but few discuss how to actually reach it. But the sector has potential. Skåne is a region in Sweden that has succeeded very well in food innovation. A key to success is strategic alliances and cooperating with the customers. At this lecture, Märit Beckeman and Magnus Nilsson will present ideas on how to make the food sector more innovative.
