What is social entrepreneurship? What role does it play in society? And what does it mean to individuals who are involved in it? During this Estrad lecture we will get an overview of Swedish and international research. The speakers, Malin Gawell and Ester Barinaga, will also show how ideas are put into practice in Swedish initiatives like Fryshuset and KRIS. Social entrepreneurship has an image of heroes doing good in society, but there is more to it. Gawell and Barinaga argue that we need to see the big picture. Yes, there are success stories. But there are also problems.
