During Spring 2012 you can be one of four that can be studying at the Kiev Polytechnic Institute, KPI (National Technical University of Ukraine, NTUU). All students at KTH who are Swedish citizens or have a permanent residence in Sweden can apply for these scholarships.
Teaching is held in Ukrainian and Russian, why you need excellent proficiency in either language. For those of you who want to work on your theses while in Kiev, there is a possibility to get supervision by the English speaking Professors at KPI.
The scholarship grant alone does not cover the entire trip, the remainder has to be financed by your Swedish study support.
Applications can be submitted anytime during the year and will be processed quickly. Hopefully the studies can be initiated already during the spring semester 2012.
Please include the following information in your application:
1. First and Last name
2. Social security number / Personnummer
3. The program you are studying at KTH, study year and number of completed credits.
4. A personal statements in which you explain the purpose of the studies in Kiev
and what part this experience plays in planning your future studies and career.
5. If you want to work on your thesis, you need to write the name of the company or organization, area of studies and preliminary title of the thesis.
6. Estimated time of stay in Kiev.
