SSES team Tomologic came in second place overall and won the Sustainability Award in this year's European Business Plan of the Year Competition (EBPYC). The event is Europe's oldest and most prestigious business plan competition and this year it was held at the Cranfield School of Management, in the UK, between the 28th and 29th of May.

Tomologic’s team, Magnus Norberg Ohlsson and Josefin Nordström, have come up with a truly innovative optimization service for the sheet metal cutting industry. Tomologic's cutting-edge optimization technology significantly reduces waste by as much as 20-50%. Customers gain from this innovation through reduced costs and the climate is benefited by a substantial reduction of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere.

Update: On June 9 Tomologic also was elected as this year's Venture Cup winners and received the first prize of 200 000 SEK.
