Yesterday SoundCloud announced that they have hit a million users. SoundCloud is an online audio distribution platform which allows musicians to collaborate, promote and distribute their music. It has sometimes been described as being for audio what Flickr is for photos, or Vimeo is for video.
The company was founded in 2007 by SSES alumn Eric Wahlforss and Alexander Ljung in 2007 and is now operating from Berlin.
