Break-through for diabetes innovation

The Swedish med-tech start-up Brighter won the European Business Plan of the Year Competition (EBPYC). Brighter represented SSES in the competition, which is Europe's oldest and most prestigious business plan competition This year the event took place in Gent on 30-31 May. Students from Europe's leading universities meet each year and compete for two days.

Brighter improves the daily life of diabetics by offering a discreet and user friendly solution that eliminates all the hassle and makes diabetes treatment convenient for all parties involved. The team consists of Antonio Fonduca, Michael Frantzén and Truls Sjöstedt. The team was coached by Associate Professor Terrence Brown, program director at the the Scandinavian International Management Institute in Copenhagen and former Dean of SSES.
